As Valentine's Day approaches, the pressure to find the ideal gift for your significant other can be overwhelming. Roses, chocolates, and stuffed animals are classic choices, but this year, why not give a gift that is a little more personal, and creates lasting memories? In this blog post, we'll explore the unique and heartfelt option of gifting a photo shoot voucher - a timeless and personalised present that speaks volumes.

What's So Special About a Luxury Photo Shoot?

A photoshoot would make a fantastic gift for your loved one. First, it's a chance for them to finally do something they've been wanting for a while, but just never got around to booking. Have they got a dog or horse they care for? Then they've probably considered having a photo shoot with them in the past, and this is a great opportunity to make that step for them!

Alternatively, if you think your partner would enjoy having some photos taken with you, it's a great idea to book in a portrait photo shoot. This allows you to have some 'proper' photos of the both of you, as opposed to a quick selfie here or there which often isn't Instagram-worthy!

Photoshoots are also a great way to spend time with a pet or loved one. When life gets a bit busy, it's easy to look ahead to the big things, and pass by the special moments. Photoshoots are an enjoyable experience where we can all have a bit of fun, you can make some memories, and at the end you have some images which can be cherished together for many years to come.

Your loved one can use the photo shoot however they like, and personalise it to their heart's content. A voucher would let them choose the location, who is included, and the overall style of the images. It's also not your typical present, allowing you to avoid the usual Valentine's Day clichés and go for something a bit more exciting.

What Kind of Photo Shoot Should I Choose?

This is entirely up to personal preference, so you may want to go for something inclusive to allow your loved one to let their imagination run wild. If they have a single horse or dog, you could perhaps choose a simple package for just them and their pet. However, if they have more than one animal, or you think they'd like other people in their photos, I'd advise going for a more premium shoot which will have more variety, and more edited images to come away with.

If they're a little camera-shy and wouldn't want photos including themselves, but you think they'd absolutely love some images of their animals, this is something we could organise, as the packages I offer can be adapted to your preferences.

For a couple's photo shoot, I would suggest you get in touch to find the perfect package, as prices can vary depending on locations and the style of shoot you're after.

Alternatively, you can choose to purchase a monetary voucher which can be used against any kind of photoshoot, or even photographs from an event. This allows you to spend exactly what you'd like on your gift, and your significant other can use the voucher towards anything they want.

Can a Voucher be Spent on Prints?

For those who's significant other has already had a photo shoot with me, you could also buy them a voucher to be spent on prints, artwork, and canvases. Similarly, they can use their voucher towards more edited images from their shoot. With most photo shoots, I have found that clients find it really difficult to narrow the images down to a select few for editing, so if there were more photos that they wanted but didn't choose, they could spend the voucher on these photos.

Can I Buy a Voucher for a Family Photo Shoot?

Family photo shoots are a great way to show a loved one how much you appreciate them. I offer a wide range of family portrait packages to suit a variety of sizes.

I also have a wide variety of locations which are perfect for taking stunning images which will be cherished for many years to come. As families grow and change, a photoshoot serves as a visual timeline, documenting the various stages of life and the unique personalities of each family member.

Another bonus to having a family photo shoot is further gifting! The photographic prints from a family photo shoot make for timeless presents for relatives and friends in the future, especially during special occasions or holidays.

This Valentine's Day, step away from the predictable and embrace the extraordinary by gifting a photo shoot voucher. Celebrate your love with a personalised and timeless experience that captures the essence of your relationship. The memories created during the photo shoot will be cherished for a lifetime, making this unique and thoughtful gift truly unforgettable.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope this blog has helped you to find the perfect gift for a loved one during the run-up to Valentine's Day.
